Dr. Matthew Solhjem with The Oregon Clinic Radiation Oncology spoke with CURE as part of their “Speaking Out” video series. During the conversation, Dr. Solhjem talked about the benefits of MRI-guided stereotactic body radiation therapy. He also discussed advancements in treating patients with prostate cancer, with methods of delivering greater doses of radiation in fewer treatments using therapies such as stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy.
