The Oregon Clinic, the largest private specialty physician practice in Oregon, continues to grow. They welcome the physicians and providers from the Portland Otolaryngology Consultants (POC) to The Oregon Clinic’s expanding Ear, Nose & Throat practice beginning June 1, 2016. POC will change their name to The Oregon Clinic Ear, Nose & Throat- Northwest.
The group brings four board-certified physicians and one physician’s assistant to The Oregon Clinic team—Christopher Hargunani, MD; Duane Lundeberg, MD; Samuel Shiley, MD; Larry Thomas, MD; and Megan Heinecke, PA-C. Their two audiologists, Nicole Frazier, AuD; Vanessa Rentschler, AuD, will continue their practice, Lovejoy Audiology.
The Oregon Clinic Ear, Nose & Throat- Northwest’s practice includes experts in advanced medical and surgical care for adults and children in the entire field of otolaryngology, including sinus, tonsil and adenoid disease, nasal breathing problems, head and neck surgery, hearing loss, thyroid surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology.
They will continue to practice at their three office locations— Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, and at Legacy Medical Group –St. Helens.
The Oregon Clinic recognizes that patients need specialty medical services, such as highly specialized Ear, Nose & Throat care, close to home. With the addition of this outstanding group, The Oregon Clinic’s Ear, Nose & Throat care will expand to northwest Portland, northeast Portland, and St. Helens. Beginning June 1, The Oregon Clinic’s private practice will increase to 237 providers at 60 offices.

Larry R. Thomas, MD earned his undergraduate and medical degree at Ohio State University. He completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology at Oregon Health & Science University.
Duane A. Lundeberg, MD earned his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. He also completed his residency and internship in Otolaryngology Oregon Health & Science University.
Samuel G. Shiley, MD earned his medical degree at the University of California at Irvine. He completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology at Oregon Health & Science University.
Christopher A. Hargunani, MD earned his medical degree at Georgetown University. He completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology at Oregon Health & Science University.
Megan Heinecke, PA-C earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2010. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2009.
Nicole Frazier, Au.D. earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language Pathology and Audiology at California State University at Chico, her Master of Science in Audiology at Portland State University, and her Doctor of Audiology at Pennsylvania College at Salus University.
Vanessa Rentschler, Au.D. earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology, her Master of Science in Speech, Language Pathology and Audiology at California State University at East Bay, and her Doctor of Audiology at Pennsylvania College at Salus University.
