2024 Marks 10th Time The Oregon Clinic has Ranked Among Top 10 Best Places to Work
Portland, OR – October 1, 2024 — The Oregon Clinic (TOC) was named Oregon’s 8th Top Workplace among large employers by The Oregonian this week. The Oregonian’s annual survey polls thousands of employees statewide from participating employers. This is the tenth time The Oregon Clinic has participated in the survey, and each time The Oregon Clinic has ranked among the top 10 best places to work.
80% of The Oregon Clinic’s employees – 1,160 individuals – responded to the anonymous survey with their opinions. Close connection to The Oregon Clinic’s values and meaningful work were ranked highly by most employees. Of those surveyed, 80% felt the organization operates by strong values and that they are a part of something meaningful. Employees identified a strong connection to their supervisor: 81% felt supervisors care about their concerns, and that supervisors respect everyone’s voice. 78% of employees say they feel genuinely appreciated at work.
One of the strongest responses was when asked about patient care: 89% of employees are confident that The Oregon Clinic’s patients receive excellent care.

The Oregonian partners with research firm Energage to conduct a scientific employee survey process to determine the region’s Top Workplace rankings each year. Organizations throughout Oregon and SW Washington are invited to participate and be assessed each year. Employees at participating workplaces completed surveys about workplace culture, including employee engagement, leadership, alignment with company values, effectiveness, encouraging new ideas, benefits and more, resulting in the ranking of the region’s top workplaces.
