Anna Barlow-Harris specialized in OBGYN to work closely with people and their families, and is honored to be with them during some of their most joyous, challenging, and vulnerable moments. Anna is a trauma informed clinician who blends holistic, evidence-based medicine with midwifery wisdom.
As a Certified Nurse Midwife who works in a hospital setting, Anna specializes in unmedicated physiologic birth and has substantial experience caring for patients who choose epidural or other pain relief measures. She also assists in cesareans when needed.
Anna believes knowledge is power, and values building long lasting relationships with people to provide education about their bodies, validate their concerns, and create a care plan that works for them as an individual. All people with a uterus need general reproductive and gynecologic health care in some form, and she sees patients from their teen years through menopause for a wide range of needs.
Anna has lived in the Portland area her entire life and loves the weather, the neighborhoods with their own personalities, mature green spaces, and the music scene. She spends as much time as possible outside with her two young kids and husband. Anna also enjoys spending time at coffee shops, working on their 1960’s fixer upper, or watching the WNBA.
