Tambrie Perez grew up with hard of hearing family members and saw the challenges they had with communicating. This motivated her to find a career where she could help people communicate better. She minored in sign language during undergraduate school and spent time in a total communication, deaf and hard of hearing kindergarten during her externship. These experiences provided Tambrie with valuable insight into the communication needs of both members of the Deaf community and families of children with hearing loss.
As an audiologist, Tambrie loves when patients or their families notice the impact that hearing loss treatment has on their family life or the relationships they have with their family and friends.
Tambrie enjoys walking with her two dogs in the year-round green atmosphere of Oregon. She can often be found reading fantasy novels.
Tambrie is intermediate level in American Sign Language.
